When COVID hit, did you feel like a freight train ran straight through your plans?? It sure felt this way for me. I'll never forget where I was that day. I had been working on this new boxing movie that was being filmed in Toronto and on March 13th, hours before they announced the lockdown, the production had told me they would extend my contract for the entire summer. Honestly, I would have never thought that coming back from lunch that day, I'd be jobless.

But if there's one thing boxing taught me, it's how to roll with the punches. When your in the ring if there's one thing you have no control over, it's your opponent. You can't control her every move. She is unpredictable. All you can do is stay focus and adapt.

Mandy Bujold is now a pro at rolling with the punches in and out of the ring. When covid destroyed her plans of going the Tokyo Olympics 2020, she was able to adapt quickly. To shift her thinking from negativity to solution oriented. What saved her in that moment? Her fighter's mindset.

Mandy Bujold is a World Amateur Boxing Champion & Olympian. She is 11x Canadian Boxing Champion, 3 times Continental Champion and the only female boxer in history to win 2 Pan American games. She competed at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil where she got hospitalized the night before her boxing match and went from the hospital bed straight to the ring.

She is an ambassador of Team Canada and a keynote speaker about goal-settings, dealing with failure and high performance.


This woman knows how to turn challenges into opportunities, setting goals and GETTING IT DONE.
